Early Years Foundation Stage

At St. Georges we aim to offer every child the best start to their education. Working in partnership with parents and families, we establish caring relationships that facilitate a lifelong love of learning.

Through a nurturing learning environment and an engaging curriculum, we encourage the children to be the best they can be.

The EYFS curriculum is made up of 7 areas of learning. These are divided into prime and specific areas.

We will support children in their learning through a blend of direct teaching, purposeful play and learning challenges. This will be delivered both in the classroom and outside in our wonderful outdoor area.
